M. Shannon Fields, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M.(NCCAOM)

M. Shannon Fields earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Meredith College in Raleigh, N. C. and a Master's Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Atlantic University of Chinese Medicine in Mars  Hill, N. C.  Shannon has always been interested in natural healing and decided to enter acupuncture school to learn more about the    Eastern Philosophies of preventative medicine and alternative methods of healing.  Shannon is a licensed acupuncturist in  N. C. and S. C. and a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine(NCCAOM).  Shannon divides her time between the Center for Holistic Medicine
 in Asheville, N. C and has most recently joined  the  dedicated staff of Kimah Healing  Arts Center in Greenville,         S. C.  Shannon's primary interests for her practice are pain management, women's health, allergies, and emotional
 issues.  She is very dedicated to all her patients and takes special care to insure a proper treatment plan, which may include Chinese herbs, diet modifications, or lifestyle changes.  She believes that prevention is the key to health and now is the time to start focusing on a healthy balanced lifestyle.
